As Creative Curriculum lead, I have redesigned topics to suit a knowledge and vocabulary driven curriculum. I will share full units of work across History, Geography, Art and Design & Technology. These show clear focuses on skills, knowledge covered and pupil outcomes through classroom based learning. There are also Topic Covers which complement the units of work, highlighting targeted vocabulary and key facts for the children to focus on and revisit throughout the unit.

At the end of the unit, the children will complete an assessment task which looks to answer the question that the unit has been designed around - What are the most effective finishing techniques to use for fabric? This includes the children evaluating their own tote bags against the given criteria at the start of the unit. It has been taught with a 2 unit in mind, but could be spread out over a half term.
